John Fricke is a notable OZ historian and author of Judy: A Legendary Film Career; The Wizard of Oz: The Official 50th Anniversary Pictorial History; Judy Garland: World’s Greatest Entertainer; Judy Garland: A Portrait in Art & Anecdote; 100 Years of Oz; and (with Jonathan Shirshekan) The Wizard of Oz: An Illustrated Companion to the Timeless Movie Classic. An Emmy Award-winning producer and Grammy Award nominee, he makes his home in New York City.

REMEMBERING JERRY: HE REPRESENTS THE LOLLIPOP GUILD!
Jerry was the surviving member of the Lollipop Guild – and across those Oz festival years, he sang (and danced to) his stanza literally thousands of times for fans.
Most importantly, the unvarying, rapt involvement and sheer joy of every audience was proof positive – then and ever since – of the very unique and powerful Magic of Oz!
