This summer fans can experience their own Oz adventure by riding the “Wizard of Oz Train” through the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. For two Oz attractions in one destination, head to Kansas City, Missouri. The “Over the Rainbow: Toys from the Land of Oz” exhibit remains open through Aug. 20 at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures. http://toyandminiaturemuseum.org And the Mesner Puppet Theatre has staged a brand new production of the classic story to be performed through July 9.
