This summer fans can experience their own Oz adventure by riding the “Wizard of Oz Train” through the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina.  From July 14-Aug. 6, fans can climb aboard for 2 ½ hours of Oz.  Day in Kansas City

For two Oz attractions in one destination, head to Kansas City, Missouri.  The “Over the Rainbow: Toys from the Land of Oz” exhibit remains open through Aug. 20 at The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures. http://toyandminiaturemuseum.org  And the Mesner Puppet Theatre has staged a brand new production of the classic story to be performed through July 9.  "Wicked" Performances
