During Autumn in Oz, in Banner Elk, NC, Sept. 6-8, 13-15, you can actually follow the Yellow Brick Road. VIP guests include authors Jay Scarfone, Bill Stillman, and Randy Schmidt, plus two of Wicked’s stars, Rachel Potter (Glinda) and Kristy Cates (Elphaba). Tickets and info:

The Midwest Oz Fest in Tinley Park, Illinois, will be Sept. 21-22. The website hasn't been updated, but you can can contact them with questions.

Sept. 28 Holland, Mich., dedicates the new Oz park. Character sculptures, a Yellow Brick Road and a fantastic organic monument to Oz will be unveiled as a permanent display.

The Aventura (Florida) Center offers MGM’s classic The Wizard of Oz as a free family film Sept. 8. See it on the big screen in its 80th year.
