It’s here!  Oztoberfest will be Oct. 7 in downtown Wamego. Hamilton Meserve headlines the guest list sharing memories of Margaret Hamilton,the unforgettable Wicked Witch of the West he called “Mom.” Singer Shanice Williams, Dorothy in "The Wiz Live" (Dec. 2015), will make her first appearance at a public Oz event. Hear from Aaron Harburg, great-grandson of lyricist Yip Harburg -- the man who put the rainbow in “The Wizard of Oz.”  Gabriel Gale will talk about his Ages of Oz book trilogy, Oz artist Vincent Myrand will unveil original paintings, and Lego master builder Allen T. Hickmon will showcase amazing Oz creations. Film critic Ryan Jay reviews "Oz on TV" and shares exclusive interviews with the stars of NBC’s “Emerald City.” Oz author Paul Miles Schneider is back with his Oz adventures, while Oz collector JohnPaul Cafiero and Oz Club president Jane Albright will lead tours of the museum. Oz author and historian John Fricke returns to serve as emcee.
