Ever wonder what Glinda the Good Witch’s sparkling rhinestone and pearl brooch looked like up close?  Did you know Miss Gulch wore glasses?

Check out these wonderful, one-of-a-kind original accessories from the 1939 MGM Wizard of Oz film. 

These pieces, commissioned by MGM from Joseff-Hollywood (official jewel maker for the early film industry) have been hidden away in the Joseff archives since 1939.

Recently rediscovered, they are having their 2019 “coming out party” here at Wamego’s own OZ Museum, just in time for the 80^th anniversary of the release of the film. 

And don’t forget your glasses – Miss Gulch will not loan hers!
