The OZ Museum Hires New Gift Shop Operations Manager

Joining the Wamego Community and OZ Staff from St. Petersburg, Florida, Kimberly Shepherd has officially taken on the position as Gift Shop Coordinator for the OZ Museum. Kimberly is originally from Bellville, Kansas but moved to Florida to study Political Science and Psychology at St. Petersburg College. She moved back to Kansas and settled in Manhattan in 2006.

Kimberly has a strong background in customer service and developed a love for OZ from her Grandparents. “I’m just looking forward to getting to know the people of the community. I’ve heard it’s a nice community, but I haven’t actually spent much time here,” she explains.

Kimberly remains especially passionate about her family and her work with Foster Care programs throughout the country. With hopes to bring her family oriented outlook to the Museum, Kimberly plans to become involved in the Wamego community and provide a reliable face for museum patrons and supporters.

The OZ Museum is located 511 Lincoln, Ave in Wamego, KS. It remains open on Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Please contact the museum at 1-866-458-TOTO with any questions.
